Job Title: Speech Therapist

Detailed Work Profile:

  1. Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, articulation, and voice disorders.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans.
  3. Provide articulation therapy to improve speech clarity.
  4. Implement voice therapy techniques for voice disorders.
  5. Address various speech and language disorders.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
  7. Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals.
  8. Educate and counsel patients and families.
  9. Stay updated with the latest therapy techniques.
  10. Maintain accurate patient records.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Contract Duration: 1 year

Education Profile Specifications:

  • Graduation: Post-Graduation
  • Masters Degree: Must hold a Master's degree in Speech Therapy (eligible for registration with the Maldives Allied Health Council)
  • Special Course: English Certification (IELTS)

Personal Attributes:

  • Good with children (preferable if experienced with children with hearing loss and ADHD)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
